Sam

Sam is a quiet dog who has been severely neglected based on what we have seen. She had been attacked by other dogs when we rescued her and needed medical care for the wounds. She was extremely scared of people but has since gained tremendous amount of trust. She appears to have arthritis which causes a bit of stiffness when she walks. Despite of that she happily joins the group walks off-leash or on-leash in her current foster home and has a bit of pep in her step! She gets along with other dogs but is not really interested in playing or socialising. In her first foster care there were cats which she practically ignored. She is house-trained, crate-trained and travels calmly in the car. Sam would benefit from a quiet and calm home being a bit of an old soul. We wouldn’t recommend her to a family with small children.
