Lina

Lina is a kind female Podenco-Mix and had at least one litter of puppies (2024). Lina and her two pups were no longer wanted by her owner and so ASAP has taken them all in and given them security once again. Lina accept all dogs - she happily played with her own puppies, but she does not need the company of other dogs - she would be very happy as an only dog. She loves her walks on lead. Off lead you have to keep an eye on her and call her back with treats. We believe Lina would be fine with pet cats, but as Podencos were bred as hunting dogs, she may well chase cats, rabbits etc. if off her lead. However, she will come back when called and the offer of a treat. Lina is quiet during the night and clean. In de morning (after 8am) she goes upstairs waiting until her foster-mum is dressed. She loves cuddles and to snuggle with people on the sofa. Lina has met children and she is fine with them but would probably be scared of very noisy boisterous children. A fenced garden is recommended. Lina would love a home of her own and would be the perfect companion in a quiet household. We’d be so happy for Lina to find her forever home very soon.
