short description
Penny is a sweet, cuddly, affectionate and intelligent young dog who is full of energy and is very eager to learn. Penny can do the basic commands and always wants to please. Penny would be suitable for an active home where she is physically and mentally is kept busy. Penny gets along well with other dogs, so she could also live well with a like-minded dog.
special features / medical informations
Penny was tested negative for the 5 most common Mediterranean diseases on 28.11.24.
Currently she is not yet neutered, as she is still growing. But she will get neutered before her adoption.
full description
After being found alone on the street with her sister Tuppence when she was just a few weeks old, Penny is currently living in a foster home with lots of other dogs of different ages and sizes.
As she and her sister have a lot of energy and cannot be kept busy in their foster home in Spain, Penny is urgently looking for a new home. Due to time/space constraints, she unfortunately has to spend a lot of time in the outdoor enclosure. Penny is a sweet, cuddly, affectionate and intelligent young dog who is full of energy and very eager to learn.
Penny has more or less taught herself to fetch balls and put them down in front of people.
They then throw them for Penny. She loves retrieving and always remembers where she left the ball when she is busy elsewhere. Penny knows the basic commands and always wants to please.
Penny walks well on the lead, but has not yet been trained or tested in the city.
Penny would be suitable for an active home where she can be physically and mentally exercised. Penny gets along well with other dogs, so she could also live well with a like-minded dog. She would certainly be suitable for agility or other mental human-dog activities. She loves children very much. It is not known how Penny behaves towards cats, as there are no cats in her foster home.
Penny also tested negative for the 5 most common Mediterranean diseases on 28.11.24. She is not yet spayed as she is still growing. She will be spayed before she is adopted. She weighs approx. 22kg and is approx. 50-60cm tall.
Penny is now in a foster home with our partner organisation HZW (Hondenzorg en Welzijn) in the Netherlands. If you are interested, please contact HZW directly: www.hondenzorgenwelzijn.nl/honden/415/penny
