Lars

Lars is a beautiful young male Podenco-Mix. He was abandoned by his owner because he was moving house. Lars was found with his mum and two siblings. Sadly, one of the siblings had been taken by a hunter before we managed to rescue them. Lina was a wonderful mum to the two pups who have benefited from the goodness of mum’s milk. Lars does enjoy playing with other dogs but usually backs-off if the play gets too rough as he’s such a gentle soul. He is sometimes a bit shy with new people and, as you will see from the videos, he does let the other dogs get in there for a stroke first. In his current foster home, he is one of 8-9 dogs so is usually at the back of the queue but in a one-on-one situation, he is loving and affectionate, and it would be wonderful for him to be in a home where he can have all the attention. Lars sleeps well and is clean in the house. He walks well on a lead and does not resource-guard. Lars has his passport, microchip, rabies and all his vaccinations. He has had a blood test and is free of the five Mediterranean Diseases. Lars is now ten months old so almost fully grown at 56cm tall and 16.5kg. It would be fabulous if this lovely gentle puppy could have a home of his own where he will get lots of love and affection. Podencos are energetic breeds who love exercise and mental stimulation such as agility training.
